Repetition Makes Perfect

I've noticed over the years that my cursive writing isn't what it use to be. I noticed that I've even forgot how some of the letters look and I couldn't figure out why. Then I realized without using it often or practicing what I knew, I ended up forgetting. That which I practiced over and over for years is now a fading memory.

Which makes me think on other aspects of my life. Things that I don't consistently work on will naturally be forgotten. That goes for everything like dancing, drawing, singing, and even our faith. Definitely in our generation today, we are the generation of everything is done for us. We have phones that will read to us and calculate simple problems for us that we don't think to touch up on our skills. But faith out of all these things is something went can't afford to fall short in. It's not something we can just put on the back burners. Most of us have learned the basics about God when we were younger, but that alone doesn't save us. We have to continuously work on our faith and get in God's word daily. Before we forget all about him and what he requires of us. I'm not saying if you don't read your bible everyday your not saved, but you are missing out on some blessings God has for you. Also that if you don't consistently seek him you will end up doing things and living life your own way and not the way he wants us to.
"A Bible that is falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t." — C.H. Spurgeon

Simply put maybe we should start getting back into those beneficial habits we let die in our lives!
